A sentence is an organized series of words that allows
you to make a statement, ask a question, express a thought, offers an opinion,
and so on. A sentence is organized in relation to what you intend to say and
how are going to say it. Sentence has two basic parts: a subject and a
predicate. The subject is the part of the sentence that denotes the doer of an
action or what the sentence is about. Predicate is the part of a sentence that
provides information about the subject. Furthermore, Oshima and Hoque
(1999:155) state that a sentence is a group of words that use to communicate
the ideas. Every sentence is formed from one or more clauses and expresses a
complete thought.
